not sure how i feel about these i still prefer the ones i am doing by hand will see how it goes

for april on wednesday
for her shoot i will be carrying on with what i looked at with edwin projecting things on to her face with inspiration of the shadow work previous.


simple piece of brass foil i nailed a line of holes into ready to push the nail fully through.



once i had done this i created interesting holes pushing the nail though.




as you can see i used a nail on a picture frame using a piece of slate as a hammer.



as you can see its pretty sharp after i have made the holes i want i push the sharp sides flat just incase.



all three designs i still have the other ones i used on edwin too.

even though i do love landscape photogrpahy i didnt really have the right lens's with me but i love the pic i took of chris it tells a story

i used an over head projector to create these images using various objects and the brass i had cut along with hot glue shapes.
i only had under an hour to do this shoot i feel if i had more time i could have experimented more however i have learnt a lot from it and going to create more brass pieces and larger glue ones too that will help mimic some or my artist inspiration

This is one of my better pictures. Its a crop of the original image which although it looks enticing when its just half the image it really brings the viewer closer into the image and makes them want to look around and try and see more of the image. I am still looking at layering through my images atm i have only looked at physical layers. I am looking into using makeup and glitter etc to add different depths to my images one i have done this i am going to experiment with recon decon with my images cutting them up and putting them back together on different transparency layers or using tracing paper so you can only see certain areas.













this image is made with the intention to be to separate images that are like a 2 page spread in a magazine inspired by Simon Emmetts work below.



also Philippe Salomon has inspired me with colour use and the idea of different ways to use layers of paint and metal even the lace that i had been using already before i found him

doing this i have realised that there is a lot more to takin a picture than pointing at clicking the last three of me i took my self with the same camera as the ones of april however i couldnt see what was going on and the quality of the image is drastically different.
