i heart irving penn

well i was just looking for inspiration and some ideas and came across this lil gem! however he has been around for years and sadly passed away 2 years ago at the age of 92 his work is so modern and beautiful. the pictures through the glass and the fashion shots are exquisite. i love the self portrait i wonder how he distorted it maybe he moved while taking the pic or while exposing.
then the colour images of the frozen food AMAZING i would have never thought that a block of frozen food could be so interesting?

i habe been asked to take images in a similar style to this for a new business being created called Bureau or Bureau Schemes. the images are to be of buildings the creator has designed and over seen. will be starting this on friday as many buildings are here in manchester.

reminded me of my colour work so much ... should i look into digital projections? to get brighter more intense colour and odd shapes or do i stay with my old school OHP?

april colour

well im dont no were to go from here ... so i do more work with the glass, do i carry on with the painted shapes , projected colour? wait for a 5d just carry on? i just need someone to go do this because... and not just say its good with no reasoning.

logo designs

to create business cards with n to watermark my work with. inspired by a section of a picture i took of april and have since replicated in many ways. i could also just have simple lines.

layouts

for the catalog i wanted my work to be sleek and well polished. i didnt want to use colour with the high contrast black and white images as i thought they would clash and look to busy. although ryan has done all the layout i created this one by mixing 2 different styles
